Nem hiszem, hogy sikerül elűznöm az esőt evvel az angol mondókával. Esik, és esni fog a következő napokban. Akkor nézzünk pár esővel kapcsolatos kifejezést  Az angol nyelv bővelkedik ilyen kifejezésekben  az angliai változékony időjárás miatt.

 1. raining cats and dogs – it is raining very heavily

Don’t forget your umbrella: it’s raining cats and dogs!

2. (as) right as rain – to feel as right as rain is to feel well 

I took some aspirin, went to bed, and in the morning I was right as rain.

She takes her dog for a walk every day, come rain or shine.

5. bucket down (phrasal verb) – to rain very heavily.

It’s bucketing down, don’t forget your umbrella.

6. save for a rainy day – to save something (especially money) for a time in need

I’m saving  for a rainy day.
